Acknowledgements - Winter 2019
We gratefully acknowledge the many people and organizations who have made our performances possible:
We sadly say our last thank you to SoundPLAN International LLC who has for 19 years printed our posters, programs, and all PR materials for all our educational events. We wish them enjoyment in retirement. The Humanities of Washington Speakers Bureau has supported this choir many years with speakers and travel grants. Mass Transit and Kiwanis sponsor transportation for North Mason and Pioneer students so they can sing at the Tree Lighting Ceremony with our choir. Kristmas Town Kiwanis and Pioneer Kiwanis are the Music 2 Our Ears sponsors, providing three $200 scholarships to the youth music contestant winners who are part of our program today. The Shelton-Mason County Journal, Sr. News, Co ee News, KMAS, Hood Canal Communications and Shelton and North Mason Chamber of Commerce have promoted our choir through advertising. Joey Seward, operations engineer prepares the stage, and the band department and the Community Concert Association provided the marimba and piano. Thank you all for your professional work with us and with Women of Note, a women’s ensemble a liated with Harstine Island Community Choir.
We appreciate use of the Harstine Grange Hall, Shelton High School Performing Arts Center and St. David of Wales Episcopal Church.
Our fund-raising events, Swing Fever, Lynch Creek Floral wreaths and centerpieces have been widely supported in the community.
We thank our ne guest artists and our youth music contest winners for joining us for this Christmas concert. And we thank choristers for purchasing music and dedicating time to prepare concerts. Many singers baked the cookies for our Harstine Hall concert afterglow.
Thank YOU for making generous donations. 100% of the donations placed in the box at the door bene t future concerts and educational outreach programs of Harstine Island Community Choir. Our program lists many ways your tax deductible donation helps us support our logo, ‘Promoting Harmony in Mason County and Beyond.”
